Hot rolled uncoated raw steel
Commercial quality sheet made of low carbon steel and intended for use in simple bending or moderate drawing and welding. Various applications, from agricultural equipment to automotive equipment, from blower and ventilation systems to hot air registers. Rimark hot rolled steel products conform to AS1594.

Hot rolled uncoated pickled and oiled steel
Pickled & Oiled Sheets should be used when the tight oxide scale present on Hot Rolled Sheets is unacceptable. Pickled and Oiled Sheets with their superior smooth clean surface are recommended for stamping or ordinary drawing applications. After cleaning they can be painted or enamelled. Rimark hot rolled pickled & oiled products conform to AS1594.

Cold rolled uncoated raw steel
Commercial grade cold rolled sheets are made of low carbon steel and are intended for exposed or unexposed parts such as bending, moderate drawing or forming and welding. Sheets of this quality have a high level of ductility and are more stable in performance due to the high standards of steel production, selection and processing. The surface finish is a dull matte texture. Rimark cold rolled steel products conform to AS1365.

Galvanised steel
The list of capabilities for galvanised steel is extensive. The steel sheet can be punched, sheared, pressed, drawn or bent according to the requirement. It is ideal for marine applications as the surfacing is salt resistant and also resists other weather conditions. Our galvanised steel products conform to AS1397.

Floor Plate
The steel floor plate is a flat sheet material with a slightly elevated, ‘tread’ pattern. The standard chequered tread pattern is universally recognised and used by most Australian industries. Aside from commercial applications, steel floor plates are commonly found on trailer or commercial vehicle floors. The pattern is applied to one side of the sheet, and the opposite side is flat or devoid of features.

Grade 250
Quenched & Tempered Steel Plate
Quenched and tempered plate, a steel that is stronger and harder than ordinary carbon steel. The product is used for the manufacture and repair of machinery and structures where greater abrasion resistance or higher yield strength are required.
Grade 80 is a high strength, low alloy structural steel with controlled carbon equivalent to optimise welding. Typical applications for Grade 80 include Transport equipment, Mining equipment, High-rise buildings, Excavator and loader buckets, Lifting equipment, Bridges and Storage tanks.
Grade 400 is a high hardness, abrasion-resistant steel with a controlled carbon equivalent to optimise welding. Typical applications for Grade 400 include Gear wheels, Wear liners, Storage bins/hoppers, Deflector plates and Earthmoving buckets.
Grade 500 is a medium carbon, high hardness and abrasion-resistant steel. Typical applications for Grade 500 include Dump truck wear liners, Chutes, Wear liners, Cutting edges and Ground-engaging tools.
